wonderful book!

This book covers everything from the basics to research, to specific fabric rendering, to drawing proportions, to flats, CAD, and illustrations examples with media description. It is one of the most complete and enjoyable books I've ever read. Very explanatory and yet very brief and simple. Very good for a student but also for someone looking for new inspirations. Just perfect!

Excellent Resource for Designer at Almost Any Level

If you want a resource to help with illustrating your fashion fantasies that reflects your own design aesthetic, then this book is for you. This is a thorough, but concise treatment of fashion illustration and design. It will show you basic strategies for putting together a journal that will document and communicate your design ideas.

Great book for fashion design!

Love this book. I use it for fashion design in my high school Art classroom. I cut the spine off and put it in a binder. Helps with drawing fabrics and bodies in real and distorted proportions.
