Great book, even better vinegar

As the author of the book: Juicing Recipes From Fitlife.TV Star Drew Canole For Vitality and Health I know a few things about natural ingredients for health and weight loss.

This book and Bragg's vinegar are a perfect combination for anyone looking for a product that, quite frankly, produces some pretty miraculous results if you're already trying to eat healthy and live a fit lifestyle. If you drink Bragg as a chaser from a donut binge, well, not sure if anything can help you. :)

Okay book.

I have to agree with other purchasers/reviewers. The book is clearly filled with a lot of product pushing and buyer testimonials. Although I agree with many of the testimonies, it was just plain boring. There are several repeating themes in the book as well. I believe most of the information is available online. Do not recommend.

Better than over the counter medications

I drink apple cider vinegar with raw honey and once you get past the first couple glasses, I find this a very refreshing drink. I only drink water, so adding the vinegar and honey gives me a different taste, like a tart lemonade. Keeps you regular also. Better than taking the over the counter medications. At least this way you know what you are taking into your body.

It's a discipline in itself to just read this book; but, it is so worthwhile. Of course, after you are done, you will want to get the followup book, "The Wisdom of The Overself", as it will give you a more complete picture.

A Guide to Walking the Path

As all the Paul Brunton books I have thus far read, THE HIDDEN TEACHING BEYOND YOGA is yet another one which speaks from the soul. Reading it provides one with an eerie feeling that The Teacher is talking directly to you. His understanding and explication what he calls "the philosophy of truth" is astounding.

He is brilliant, accessible, convincing and addicting. I am actually reading this book in preparation for another of his which I found too advanced.

A little Brunton goes a long way . . . Highly recommended for true seekers.

About the Author

Faranak Nekoogar, Ph.D., is coauthor of From ASICs to SOCs: A Practical Approach, published by Prentice Hall (2003). She has worked for many years researching UWB topics in the Department of Applied Science at University of California, Davis. Faranak has published several patent applications and technical papers in the following areas of UWB research: multiple-access techniques, channel estimation, synchronization, and secure wireless sensor networks using UWB radios. She currently conducts research on UWB-RFIDs at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. She also has several years of industry experience in functional and timing verification of application-specific integrated circuits and systems-on-a-chip.

Ultra-wideband (UWB) radios are expected to play a revolutionary role in the future of wireless communications systems. The great interest in UWB communications was sparked by FCC rulings in February 2002 that authorized the unlicensed commercial deployment of UWB technology under a strict power control in 7500 MHz of spectrum. This fast-emerging technology uses extremely narrow and low-power RF pulses to transmit and receive information. Using short-duration pulses as the basic building block of communication results in exceptionally attractive features as well as unique technical challenges.This book provides a comprehensive introduction to UWB communications systems in a simple and easy-to-understand language. It covers the fundamentals of short pulse generation and propagation, regulatory issues, concerns about UWB interference, and UWB applications and potential target markets. Evernote has been around a while, at least as far as the myriad other "notebook" apps are concerned. It was not all that easy to navigate and figure out though, so I bypassed it initially. However, at an entrepreneur's weekend, Evernote comments were cropping up on occasion, so I decided to try it and evaluate more of the capabilities I heard about but couldn't figure out. This book (Kindle version) was the entry material I needed to see to get into Evernote. 10 days later, Evernote is all I use.
